Meet the 2017 ECO Impact Awards winners! They are distinguished members of the environmental industry and community in Canada.

Ian Smith has specialized experience in geomorphic sciences including erosion control, bank stabilization, and natural channel design plus the design of constructed wetlands for residential, municipal, landfill, agricultural and industrial wastewater treatment.


ept certification

Jonathan has a multidisciplinary educational and professional background spanning finance, accounting, oil and gas and now the environmental sector. He completed his Master of Resource of Environmental Management at Dalhousie University, where he specialized in community based social marketing.


Auditor certification

Chris’s education consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and minors in Economics and Communications, from Eastern Washington University. Chris is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an Environmental Professional designation.
